Spend Your Best Week of Summer with PALS

15 camp locations across the country
June 15 - August 15

What is CAMP PALS?

Camp PALS is a weeklong overnight program on college campuses around the country. WARNING: Participating at Camp PALS will change your perspective of individuals with Down syndrome! Through the power of shared immersive experiences, volunteer counselors leave camp as allies for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Paired one-on-one with their peer-aged roommates with Down syndrome, volunteers spend a week exploring new cities, trying new adventures, and becoming more accepting of not only individuals with Down syndrome, but also more accepting of themselves. Typically, roommates form friendships that last well beyond camp.

When is PALS?

PALS has camps all summer long in 15 locations across the country. Check out the summer line-up here!

How old do I have to be to volunteer?

Volunteer positions are available for ages 16 and over.

How much does it cost?

Volunteer counselors have no out-of-pocket costs during the week, other than transportation to and from Camp (and even then, we have travel scholarships available for those that qualify.)

I’m in! How do I get more information?
