Do you miss those summer days at Camp with all your friends? We do! If you’re in the area, come to the New York City Buddy Walk this Saturday, September 24! The Buddy Walk is a great event put on annually by the Down syndrome community in NYC’s Central Park, and we make it even better by turning it into a mini PALS reunion. A bunch of Camp PALS counselors are already coming to the city for the Buddy Walk and can’t wait to hang out with you!
Here’s the plan:
The Buddy Walk starts at 11am this Saturday (9/24) at Great Hill in Central Park (106th St. and Central Park West). There will be face painting, cotton candy, golf and zumba classes, live stormtroopers and even a dance party!!
At 2pm we’re heading to the American Museum of Natural History, where we can see the giant blue whale, dinosaur bones, a planetarium show and more!
When we’re done at the museum, we’ll have a big Italian dinner at Dean’s NYC to finish off an awesome day of friends and fun in New York!! (Dinner plus the museum should be about $35, but bring some extra money just in case!)
Can you come?? Email firstname.lastname@example.org to let us know – we can’t wait to see you!
