Here’s a little more from Courtney:

“Hi PALS Family!

Wow! I have been anxiously awaiting the day when I could officially say I am a member of the PALS staff. PALS has been a part of my life since I was a senior in high school when I attended my first camp in Philadelphia. Since then, I have been hooked. Throughout my PALS lifetime, I have served as a counselor, the Director of Adventures and most recently, as a Director of PALS Columbus. I could not be more excited to begin my new role as the Volunteer Coordinator.

A native Ohioan, I grew up outside of Cleveland and attended Miami University where I studied special education. Since graduating in 2013, I worked with college women as a Leadership Consultant visiting college campuses across the country working on leadership development. My travels brought me to Washington, D.C. where I currently reside. This job with PALS is a true gift as it allows me to combine my enthusiasm for individuals with special needs while continuing to use my thirst for developing leaders.

I am thankful for the opportunities, smiles, and friendships PALS has given me, and now it is my turn to give back! I’m looking forward to continuing to grow the organization and to making a lasting impact in the years to come.”
