PALS Tours

We are so excited to see the newest addition to the Camp PALS family thriving in the D.C. area. PALS Tours is going to bring all the fun and excitement of our typical experience to those campers and counselors who are now too old to attend Camp PALS. Please help us in supporting and congratulating Brian and Jenna on their hard work. You can learn more about the PALS Tours program and how to apply below.

With great excitement,

Jenni, Josh, Jason & Abby

Last fall the Camp PALS family announced a new program called PALS Tours. PALS Tours was developed by two long time Camp PALS counselors - Brian Atlas and Jenna Aidikoff - to be the next step for Camp PALS alumni.

PALS Tours will maintain the essence of Camp PALS guiding principles (residential housing, one-on-one , and 100% volunteer), but will feature programming geared towards an older audience and will look to increase independence as well as life skills. We will be trading our rural setting at Cabrini College in PA for a suburban environment and it will be a long weekend program to allow our older, employed alumni to attend more easily.

PALS Tours will be hosting the Pilot program in Washington DC! The program will take place Labor Day weekend, from Friday, September 2nd to Monday September 5th, with staff arriving on Thursday, September 1st. We will be staying at the 4H Youth Conference Center in Chevy Chase, MD, just across the border from our nation’s capital. For more information, please visit www.PALSTours.org

We are now accepting applications to PALS Tours. Click here for the Participant Application Form.

Please keep the following in mind:
  • All mentors and participants must be 21 or older.
  • Due to the limited number of spots, preference will be given to those who have fully graduated the Camp PALS program, and due to age, can no longer attend.
  • Participants will not be allowed to attend both Camp PALS and PALS Tours in the same year.
  • Applicants should be ready to thrive in an active residential environment. They should need minimal help with hygiene and be able to work well in groups.
Please email Brian and Jenna any questions or concerns at Directors@palstours.org.

Thanks,

Brian & Jenna
