PALS is proud to introduce the newest member of our part-time staff, Casey Sullivan! Casey is joining the team as the Family Intern and will work to support our families as they are enrolled and complete medical forms leading up to Camp PALS 2018.
Please feel free to introduce yourself or congratulate Casey at Casey@palsprograms.org.
Here’s a few words from Casey:
Hello, PALS Family,
My name is Casey Sullivan, and I am so thrilled to be continuing my PALS journey as the Family Intern!
PALS officially became a part of my life as a counselor at Camp PALS Philadelphia in 2015. In the Fall of 2016, I became an Ambassador for PALS, which basically put a title on what I already do when I am not physically at PALS…I talk nonstop about it!
The PALS mission was instilled in my heart long before that. My youngest sister has Down syndrome, and my life would not be the same without her. She is my best friend, and my role model in so many ways. I am counting down the years until it’s her turn to be a Camper so we can finally experience PALS together.
PALS is a one-of-a-kind experience and most certainly the happiest place on the planet. I have been able to establish the most valuable friendships and make unforgettable memories that will last me a lifetime. Through PALS, I have grown personally in so many ways. I am so grateful for the opportunities I have had to be a more active part in creating the world that I want for everyone: a world that is welcoming, genuine, passionate, supportive, and (of course) filled with FUN!
As Family Intern, I am so excited to be able to get to know more members of our PALS Family as we prepare for the most magical time of the year. I hope everyone is as excited as I am!
What an honor and privilege it is to be able to serve you all and be part of the team.
