“Got married in 2022! Moved from Chicago to Dayton, OH after the wedding and then bought a house and got a dog. His name is Tucker and he is a very good boy. And then next year we are moving to Destin, FL!”

“My fiance and I were engaged this past summer and are getting married in March 2026. He’s not a PALS alum, but we met through Special Olympics in college and we both have siblings with disabilities :) “

“At the time I volunteered, I was only engaged. Now I am married to my wife, built a house, and we had our first daughter together in November 2024.”

PALS alumni Allison Zetts (2011)

"Fellow PALS volunteer AJ Kennedy and I got married last year. Since PALS, our journey has seen us live and work across four continents together. We now reside in Southern Tasmania, Australia where we both work in schools and enjoy the coastal lifestyle. We welcome visitors and are always up for a chat!"

"I've been married for 4 years, have a daughter named Kiera (almost 2 years old), and a dog named Pinot (8 years old). I work at a Children's Hospital in Los Angeles, CA, as a physical therapist, specializing in treating patients in our pediatric intensive care unit."

This year, we will be hosting 21+ modified programs in DC, Atlantic City, and San Francisco. These shorter experiences (just 5 days and 4 nights) are filled with all the joy and connection you know and love. Consider joining us!
